Sigh! Seemed freecycle.org has trademarked the word Freecycle. So officials of freecycle.org cannot use Freecycle as a verb or a noun - only as an adjective, and they have to try they very best to get people to do likewise. Enviroman is not an official of freecycle.org, but to comply the spirit, Enviroman now eat his words and change it to
"I think, therefore I Reduce, Reuse and Recycle" sigh!
Anyone has any idea how I modify "I think, therefore I reduce, Reuse, Recycle and Freecycle so that Freecycle is used as an adjective?
Maybe
"I think, therefore I Reduce, Reuse, Recycle and Freecycle recycle"
Segambut Member of Parliment Datuk Dr. Tan Kee Kwong says: "What is important is that we ask ourselves what kind of world we wish our childen, grandchildren or great-grandchildren will live in."
Enviroman says: "Thank you Datuk. Help us help you, and you help your children, your grandchildren, your great grandchildren, ......."
Thanks for your nice contribution. Just saw this. Looked like I have not set this blog to email me whenever someone makes a comment, will do that later. Visited your blog. Found some pretty useful information there. Will come in very handy later, especially the RSS thing. Thanks again.

Rene Descartes was having a few drinks in his favourite bar. At the end of the evening, (as he was preparing to head for the road) the bar-tender asked him if he wanted one for the road. He replied, "I don't think so." In an instant, he disappeared like a puff of wind.
In case you didn't get it, I think "Gone with the wind" is a title of a famous movie.
Reduce (minimalist!) Reuse (make the most of what you have) Recycle (ditto) Rethink (whenever you're tempted to get yet another Ikea furniture, for example :) Compost (stuff that rot fast) Close the loop (buy recycled stuff)
Think we should spread such info from environment NGOs. I got this one from Global Environment Centre www.gecnet.info
It is now the 5R's Reduce, Reuse, Recycle, Repair, Refuse.
RECYCLE - all things that can be recycled such as paper, aluminium plastic? etc. RE-USE - things that are still usable instead of buying new ones. REDUCE - reduce waste by reducing consumption. REPAIR - wherever possible repair appliances that can be repaired - it may cost you more BUT 'cost' the EARTH less. REFUSE - SAY NO to new gadgets or anything that you can do without. YOU may be less comfortable but OUR EARTH will be more comfortable.
Everyone knows the familiar symbol for recycle - 3 arrows. But the 3R's (Reduce, Reuse, Recycle) is in reducing order of desirability. For example, recycling greeting cards may be a good practice, but recycling uses lots of water, chemicals and energy, produces secondary pollution like ink in the wastewater, etc.. Directly reusing greeting card is more desirable (see Envirocard). So you see Enviroman clothing himself with a single arrow to represent direct REUSE. Maybe that sinle arror is a better symbol to convey the message than the now wll known 3 arrows symbol. BTW you are free to use the graphic of Enviroman. A link back to us will be highly appreciated.

...recycle and use the FREECYCLE Network when I can.
Just some thoughts-It is almost 230 am here-so no laughing when you read my ideas.
How about something like
"I think, therefore I am, a Freecycle man" ...Freecycle would be an adjective there, right?
or maybe "I think, therefore I Reduce, Reuse and Recycle with my Freecycle friends"

Hey Cikgu How about this?
Descartes says 'I think, therefore I am.'
Enviroman says "I think, therefore I Reduce, Reuse, and Recycle with Freecycle™".

Enviroman don't like vague posts, so here he goes again:
Renes Descartes said: "I THINK, therefore I AM."
Then, after a couple of drinks, Renes Descartes said: "I don't THINK so."
Then Enviroman said: "Gone with the wind. Who ask you not to think carefully before you open your mouth."
Sorry, but it's 4Rs and 2Cs.
