Still more good tidings

Well, it looked like Enviroman's nomination of Malaysia's Prime Minister Datuk Seri Abdullah Ahmad Badawi as the Environmentally-friendly Prime Minister is justified. See The Environmentally Friendly Prime Minister, Good Tidings and More Good Tidings.

The administration (City Hall) of the Prime Minister has recommended to the Cabinet that Bukit Kiara, a green lung in Kuala Lumpur is not suitable for the development of a proposed broadcasting centre and sources said that most likely the Cabinet will be in favour of preserving the green lung following City Hall's recommendations. City Hall concurred with the rationale of the Friends of Bukit Kiara (FoBK) pro-tem commitee that the green lung be protected. FoBK chairman Liew Khooi Cheng told the Malay Mail that nothing was more satisfactory than getting to keep the green lung. Now it remain to see what the Cabinet will do.
